Activated carbon BAU-MF is made of carbon grade A by treating it with water steam at a temperature higher than 8000S with its prior or following crushing and screening. Each manufactured batch of activated carbon is tested by indicators for compliance with GOST 6217-74 by Technology Department.
Highly developed total porosity, wide range of pores and a significant specific absorbing surface. Such characteristics make it possible to effectively use BAU-MF for cleaning liquids of a wide range of contaminants (from the small ones, commensurable with iodine molecules, to molecules of fats, oils, petroleum, chlorinated compounds, etc.).
This activated carbon is used:
– to absorb impurities of solutions and water media;
– to clean drinking water and in water treatment systems;
– to refine steam condensate of oil and other impurities;
– for filling acetylene cylinders;
– in waste water treatment.
