Activated carbon UAI-3 is made of birch-based activated carbon BAU-MF by surface coating with silver in the amount of 0.05-0.06% by weight. Each manufactured batch of activated carbon is tested by indicators for compliance with the specifications by technology department.
Silver-impregnated activated carbon UAI-3 is characterized by similar properties to carbon BAU-MF GOST 6217-74. It has highly developed total porosity, a wide range of pores and a significant amount of specific absorbing surface. Such characteristics make it possible to effectively use AIM-3 for cleaning liquids of a wide range of impurities, leading to improved taste and organoleptic properties of produced water.
